Both Nick and Chet are seen with paint sprayed M4505 airsoft pistols during a bank robbery. However, the airsoft pistols they use also are made in a black finish and the black ones in the film are likely different guns altogether judging by the matte finish as opposed to a shiny one that the paint would leave.
